I started traveling at a young age, and was fortunate to spend a few years in the 50's and 60's growing up in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in various tree-lined oil camps in the desert near the beautiful jelly fish-lined shores of the phosphorescent, warm Persian Gulf. Was it hot there? Like nowhere else on earth!
